Coping with hair loss is just one of many aspects of cancer treatment that patients must deal with. The hair begins to fall out due to follicles that are weakened as a result of chemotherapy treatment. Many individuals eventually consider wearing wigs for this reason.
Style and comfort go hand in hand when it comes to finding a suitable wig for medical hair loss. Important as it might be to find a wig that looks great, it's just as essential to choose one that is soft, comfortable and easy to wear. Unfortunately, wigs do not come cheap. The burden of purchasing an affordable, high-quality piece can add to the stress and expense of an already tumultuous time. It is for this reason that My Trendy Place and several other organizations offer free wigs for cancer patients.
If you or someone you love can't afford a wig, you're in luck. Our organizations provide free wigs to individuals in need.
Cancer patients may already have budgets ravaged by the expenses of treating this insidious disease, and free wigs for cancer patients can not only help relieve the financial burden but also the emotional one of coping with hair loss during this traumatic period.
My Trendy Place may be able to assist you. We often get generous sponsors and donors that will help fund our customers that are in need.
If you or someone you know are in need of a wig and are no able to purchase one due to financial issues please send us a detailed letter with your loved ones information and it will be reviewed by our staff. If you are selected you will recieve a free wig, cut and styled.

My 24 year old step-daughter has been diagnosed with cancer as of 2 weeks ago. She has to have chemo and they did say that she would lose her hair. She has beautiful hair now. Is there any way to make a wig out of her own hair? Or does it take a lot more hair to make one than that? I was just curious. If you can? How much would that be?
I am interested in donating money to help the ladies that cannot pay fo rtheir wigs. How can I do that?
