Step 1: Use a widetooth comb to gently comb hair free of any tangles.
Step 2: Position your wig on the styrofoam wig block in a sink or bath and saturate the hair with warm
water while still on the wig head.
Squeeze enough shampoo to saturate the hair from root to tip and gently massage in a
downward direction.
Do not rub the hair during the washing process as that may cause tangling. Always keep
the head in an upright position.
Step 3: Apply a specialist wig conditioner or deep conditioner but an inch away from cap base. The
nature of conditioner is such that it may loosen hair and knots.
For deep conditioning: keeping hair on head in an upright position cover with plastic bag or
cling film. Allow it to penetrate.
Step 4: Rinse using cool water ensuring that all the residue has been removed.
Step 5: Use a soft towel to gently squeeze the hair of any excess water. For curl hair use a widetooth
comb to redefine curls. Do not brush curly hair when wet or dry.
Step 6: Allow wig to air dry - blow drying may increase shrinkage.
Step 7: Avoid excessive brushing or combing. Please refer to care for straight hair and curly hair.
Knot Sealer (recommended) - this will significantly reduce the potential for excess shedding. Apply only to dry wig.
Step 1: Turn wig inside out and place the wig on your mannequin so that the lace is exposed.
Step 2: Spray the wig with the Knot Sealer and allow to dry.
