Houston Lace Front Wigs Beauty and Wellness Boutique

This was my first visit to Trendy Places and it was the most unique experience I've ever had at a salon. I was greeted by friendly staff and was offered a glass of wine and snacks. The music they were playing was soothing. I was given so much information.They measured my head to see what wig would fit, I never had anyone spend that kind of time getting to know what I like before. I was sold at that point. Very patient and paid so much attention to detail. Extremely HAPPY.

My Trendy Place staff were very professional, and took the time to clean my unit. I love the application, but there are areas which did not stick. I had too many errands to run to go back. I'm going to contact Lisa on Tuesday. This is definitely not a complaint, because I am satisfied, and this can be fixed.

OMG-- One of the best parts of my Birthday/All Star weekend was the PRE-party that I had while getting Glammed up @ my Trendy Place! Not only was the the atmosphere nice but so was the music, plus I found a HOT dress to wear for the comedy show.. AND on top of it all I walked out looking FAB and turning heads all weekend!! YES I looked like a SUPER STAR ~ Thanks to LISA and the great girls who hooked up my (new) hair @ My Trendy Place!

It was really scary for me to take this step, but Lisa and all the ladies were so understanding and gracious!

If you are a "My Trendy Place" client and missed this day you missed a treat. My hair stylists re-cut and restyled my hair to enhance my face, I would have never tried that look without her encouragement, technique and her expertise.

Next was skin treatment and the makeup was applied by mymadecosmetics.com. She explained each step and most important how to maintain this look.

Finally to the photographer ! Sean Sharpe of "Photo Shoots", he turned on music to set the mood and then encourage you how to move and pose. What a experience!

I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT SPA DAY.

Going through chemotherapy can be overwhelming by itself. I did not have the strength to from place to place looking for a wig but my relatives told me about Trendy Places. Once I arrived, the owner introduced herself and gave us so much literature about the establishment and later allowed me to try on several wigs. It was obvious that she has been in this line of business for quite a while because she was so patient and understanding. The music they were playing happened to be Christian, I remember one of the lines in the song was "give it over to God". That alone helped me know that I was in the right place. This place was the best choice. I am so happy we found them.

I cannot say enough about this place. Ms. Lisa has been a God send and a caring angel. She ws born to do this type of work. I came in and was worried about privacy and the cost of the wigs. Ms. Lisa took me into a private room and assured me that no one would know about my hairloss. She not only made me feel comfortable but she went the extra mile to listen to my concerns. Her staff was knowledgable and made sure I was informed on how to care for new wig. I truly believe Lisa was meant to do this type of business because of her care and concern for sick people like me.

I am so glad I found My Trendy Places! I have alopecia and have been lookng for a nice unit that would last me a while. I found this place on the Alopecia website and it has been the best thing that has happened to me. The customer service was excellent and the knowledge the staff has was so much better than any other place that I've visited. When we made the appoinment with you, we asked for privacy and was so happy that you were able to exceed our expectations. Not only was the environment warm and welcoming, but the owner went out of her way to make sure we had all the information we needed to make an informed decision on which wig to purchase. and told us the do's and don'ts with the wig. She was very patient and knowledgable about the products and did not rush us into making a decision right away. I was also happy to know that you accepted her insurance without question. I love this hair!!! This is the first time I've ordered hair from this place and customer service was awesome. It doesn't shed or tangle and it's very soft with lots of body. I bought an 18 inch loose curl 1B and 16 inch loose curl dark brown for highlights. I will only shop for hair from My Trendy Place.

This is the most educated wig Boutique I have ever been to. I drove all the way from San Antonio to get my head measured and was impressed to know that the staff really cared about my concerns. They offered privacy which is a huge issue for me since I lost my hair from alopecia back in 2007. I have always had sensitivity to others looking at me but these ladis made me feel comfortable. The owner is very hospitable and caring. Although they didn't have my exact wig in stock, they actually contacted theier other location and had a unit brought over to me. I am really impressed with the level of professionalism.

Thank God I finally found a place that takes the time to listen to my hair concerns. I was very impressed at the level of customer service that I received, the hospitality and welcoming feeling I experienced is second to none.

Ladies, if you have not visited My Trendy Place you need to make a appointment. The customer service is outstanding from the time you walk in the door till you leave. When I walked in I was greated by a very nice you lady and met Lisa A for the first time. She is very professional and knowledgeable about the products line they have. She showed me several lace wigs and talked to me about styling and what I can and can not do with my new lace wig. The selection is wonderful. My experience here was the best I have ever experienced. The atmosphere and the staff was very warm and inviting. I did shop at a few places before this one and trendy has my vote, hands down.
The color scheme and the amenities offered does not compare to any other place that I've visited.
It is obvious that the owner spent time to plan everything to be perfect for cancer patients and for those in need. They thought of everything, from the calming music, the relaxed atmosphere, the refreshments, the restroom valet and the point of sales sytem.

I've been to several places but this was the best. The quality and customer service is second to none. They actually took the time to measure my head and create an entire profile for me. Although I didn't purchase the same day, I ended up shopping around and came right back to them. They were the best out of 4 other wig shops in Houston.

They actually had alot of inventory, there was no pressure to purchase, the staff knew what they were talking about, the atmosphere was very professional and inviting. The other places I've visited were nothing close to My Trendy Place.

I visited a wig shop that has two locations and they didn't have anything close to this place. The workers wigs/hair looked very bad, you could see alot of glue and black stuff around the edges. Not only were they unprofessional, they did not allow me to try on any wigs. They said they couldn't allow me to try on wigs "for hygiene purposes and it was like trying on someone's underwear" they let us feel the ends of the wig and hold it up to our face to see if it would look good. I felt insulted simpy because how can I buy something I can't try on? My journey continued and I found My Trendy Place. The place is very well organized and extremely clean and the restroom was beautiful. They allowed me to try on like 5 different wigs and did not treat me like a criminal. The owner was helpful and made sure she answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable. All I can say is, you get what you pay for. The owners went out of their way to set the right atmosphere and must have spent hours creating the theme. It is really beautiful inside and trust me, you will feel beautiful inside and out when you leave.

For starters, you all took the time to measure my head and allow me to try on multiple units, your bathroom was beautifully decorated and very clean, the privacy room was really private, your clothing and jewelry was professionally presented and I noticed you have a computerized system unlike someeplaces that issues hand written receipts. I also loved the snacks, the wealth of information you shared with me about maintaning my hair.

I love to see women doing great and handeling business and doing a good job. My experience here was great! Your follow up is what blew me out of the water. I have never received a follow up call other than from my doctor's office. That was very professional and will be something I will always remember.

I am very happy with the service I received. The fact that you took time to measure my head and allow me to try on a variety of wigs is what sealed the deal for me. I have been a few other places but was never allowed to try on a human wig or was limited to just touching the ends. I am so inlove with my new look. I’m soooo in love!
I placed an order for a custom unit back in July and I was nervous because I was not sure if I measured correctly and chose a medium light density,I didn’t want it to be too thin, but with the kinky straight it normally comes thick. So I waited and waited and it was the longest six weeks ever, not to mention it was due to arrive around a holiday(Labor Day) so it took a little longer, I checked my status almost every week! I was such a pain but Lisa never lost patience with me and her customer skills were EXCELLENT! I finally got my unit Tuesday and it is beautiful!!! They took what I asked for and turned it in to a work of art! The silk top is just amazing, and I got a widows peak because the in stock hairlines just didn’t work for me, so ladies if you find yourself with a hair line issue (moon shaped) then you must try one with a widows peak it makes it look soooo natural, I just had a baby in February so my whole pregnancy I wore a hair scarf and my husband seen my hair yesterday for the first time and he couldn’t even tell the difference so thank you Houston Lace Front Wigs!!!!! You are a life saver!

I wanted to say thanks again for the excellent customer service you always provide. When we had the issue with my unit being "not so pretty" 2 years ago is what keeps me as your loyal customer. Please do not feel as if I am being messy but they do not compare to your place at all. I have been wearing a lace wig for over a year now and was a faithful customer over their until I came to your boutique. Now I clearly see the difference in atmosphere, quality and service. Your staff measured my head and allowed me to try on wigs without an attitude and I didn't have to pay "extra" because the owner was doing my hair.

I wanted to comment on my experience there. The receptionist is really nice and knowledgable but you all didn't inform me that I would have to pay to get my hair braided. I didn't have a problem with paying $20 extra but at least you should have told me ahead of time, other than that I am pleased at how you did my hair. This wig is so much better than the ones I've bought at the beauty supply. I can tell the difference with the quality.
